Comment traduire "encore" en anglais?

still - yet - again

"still" s'utilise lorsqu'une action ou un état persiste au
moment où l'on parle.
is it still raining = est-ce qu'il pleut encore
there is still a bit of cake left = il reste encore un
morceau de gâteau

"yet" s'utilise surtout dans les phrases négatives: "not yet".
she isn't here yet = elle n'est pas encore ici
I haven't finished yet = je n'ai pas encore terminé

"yet" peut également s'employer dans des phrases affirmatives,
du style "sth/sb has yet to do sth". La traduction en français
se fera le plus souvent par une tournure négative.
I have yet to meet her = je ne l'ai pas encore rencontrée
the manuscripts have yet to be deciphered = les manuscrits
n'ont pas encore été déchiffrés

"again" indique la répétition d'une action.
it's me again = c'est encore moi

Italy and Libya have marked new ground in their reconciliation,
with leaders Silvio Berlusconi and Muammar Gadaffi attending
the opening of a giant gas pipeline linking the two countries.

The multi-billion euro project has been a decade in the making.
Starting at the desert Wafa field in Libya, the pipeline will
convey natural gas to Sicily. From there it can be taken to
the Italian mainland and elsewhere in Europe.

The inauguration took place on October the 7th - known as
Libya's Day of Vengeance against its former colonial ruler.

territory, back in 1911.

Colonel Gadaffi said the date would now mark the two nations

oogcontact, de afstand houden, de alertheid en wat vooral
een rol speelt is de lichaamstaal.

De mensen van de veiligheidsdienst mogen processen verbaal
schrijven en ze mogen ook spuitbussen gebruiken. Allemaal
goed en wel natuurlijk maar niet alle treincontroleurs zijn
geoefende mensen.
